The Shaare Zedek Hotel, featuring 9 rooms, is located on the 5th floor of the hospital's central building.

Each room contains: two beds, a closet, a shower and toilet, a mini-fridge, sheets, towels and an internal phone.  
The hotel kitchenette features a tea kettle/water heater, for use all week, permitted for use on shabbat too.  

Admission Procedure

The Hotel front desk is operated by the Maintenance department.
A Room Reception form must be filled out.

Price: 200 NIS per weekday, from 12:00 noon until 12:00 noon the following day. This price includes one lunch for one person. A deposit of 200 NIS is required upon admission and returned upon discharge. Payment is made at the main hospital cashier with the forms issued by the maintenance departmet.

Upon presenting a receipt, the guests receives 2 keys, one for the room and the other for the entrance (preventing passersby from using the lobby, the water heater and bathroom).

The fee does not include additional meals. Guests are welcome to eat at the employee dining room after purchasing meal tickets at the cashiers or the dining room (at a discount price for Hotel guests).

Hotel services include daily room cleaning between 12:00 and 1:00 p.m.

Rooms cannot be reserved in advance, they are offered on an availability basis. Nonetheless, we make every effort to grant the requests of our guests whenever possible.

The number of requests greatly increases towards the weekend, for Friday and Saturday till after Shabbat.

The price for weekend stayover, Friday till Saturday night is 250 NIS. This price includes 3 shabbat meals for one person.

On Saturday night there are no hotel services except in rare and pre-coordinated cases.

For those guests checking out Saturday night, the key is returned into the mail slot at the Hotel.
