Supplies
Head: Avi Moyal
Location: 1st floor
The main mission of the Supplies Unit is to provide medical equipment, chemicals, office supplies, textile, food and other necessary supplies.
This includes:
* Creating reserves to meet the material needs of the medical center, in every field
* Maintaining the ongoing levels of all items according to needs and maintenance of operability of emergency stocks, according to instructions of the Ministry of Health and the IDF.
* Managing the central storage rooms.
* Supervising the flow of equipment and supplies.
The Division is responsible for supplying equipment to all inpatient departments, laboratories, institutes, clinics and offices, each according to their needs.
The Division is committed to provision of excellent service to its clients while maintaining good communication, mutual trust, efficiency and maximal savings.
Housekeeping

The Units' tasks include:
* Seeing to the cleanliness of the entire Medical Center
* Managing maintenance and auxiliary personnel
* Supplying laundry to all departments and uniforms to the Nursing Department
* Removing all types of waste from the building
* Collecting shredded paper
* Operating the auditorium
* Organizing halls and lecture rooms
* Exterminating pests
* Transporting assignments
* Operating the Hotel
Food Services
Head: Efraim Rudel
Location: 1st floor
The Units' tasks include:
* Operating the central kitchen, this provides meals to all inpatient departments as well as to the personnel and guest dinning rooms.
* Adaptation of meals for each patient, according to individual medical need.
* Operation of the milk kitchen providing formulas for the neonatal intensive care unit, the neonatal units, the Pediatric department and the kitchen for feeding tube suspensions.
The Dietician Service is responsible for providing the appropriate nourishment for the inpatients according to their condition and disease, as an integral component of the patient's medical care.
In the Obstetrics Department breakfast and dinner are served buffet style. There are plans to switch to this method for lunch soon.
All food at Shaare Zedek Medical Center is certified Kosher under the supervision of Badatz – Ha'Edah Ha'Chareidit
Communication

Areas of responsibility:
* Operation of the medical center's central operating control panel, including all phone operators
* Summoning medical teams in emergency events, according to the type of event
* Sounding the respiration announcement over the loud speaker system
* During evening and night shifts monitoring the different control systems
* Responsibility for mobile phones – VPN system
* Organizing the hospital phone book
* Operating the appointment setting system for the Medical Center's Outpatient Clinics Sun-Thurs 8:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
