The Breast health unit at Shaare Zedek Medical Center, in cooperation with the Israel Cancer Association, offers a comprehensive basket of services to women coping with breast cancer including a special personal counselor for support, advice and information throught the process: a breast health nurse coordinator.

At each and every stage, this specially trained and experienced nurse is available to the women and their family members for consultation, information and support. Beginning with raising awareness to the importance of early detection, through all types of treatment, till rehabilitation and follow up, the nurse coordinator is just a phone call away, with friendly, useful knowledge to support informed decision making at each decision point.

The multidisicplinary staff of the Breast Health Unit at Shaare Zedek Medical Center, headed by Dr. Moshe Carmon, includes surgeons oncologists, pathologists, specially trained social workers and a nurse coordinator.
