Shaare Zedek Medical Center offers a unique service for inpatients who have suffered an event -- such as a stroke, a degenerative disease, a medication effect, or a general unwellness-- that has resulted in difficulty in swallowing.

Mr. Josh Krycer, a certified Speech Therapist, expert in speech therapy and swallowing difficulties, offers diagnosis, treatment, follow-up and recommendation for continued care after discharge from the hospital.

Mr. Krycer can be contacted through the doctors, nurses or secretaries of the inpatient departments.

This service is offered in the following departments:
Geriatrics - rehabilitation, Internal Medicine, Cardio-Thoracic Unit, Oncology, Emergency Medicine, Intensive Care Unit.
