Internal Medicine A
Director, Prof. Gideon Nesher
The Department treats a wide variety of internal diseases, emphasizing diagnosis and treatment of rheumatology-related illnesses as well as diseases of the metabolic and endocrine systems. Prof. Nesher's expertise is general internal medicine and rheumatology. Senior attending physicians in his department are Dr. Gabriel Breuer and Dr. Gabriel Munter. Both are specialists in internal medicine; Additionally, Dr. Breuer is a specialist in rheumatology and Dr. Munter is a specialist in endocrinology.

Director, Dr. Shoshana Zeevin
The Department's interdisciplinary team of experts treats a diverse patient population, referred mainly from the Department of Emergency Medicine, suffering from infectious diseases, illnesses related to lungs, the digestive system and other complex diseases. Dr. Zeevin's expertise is general internal medicine and clinical pharmacology. Senior attending physicians are Dr. Essayag, Dr. Sylvetsky and Dr. Izbicky. All three are specialists in internal medicine. Dr. Sylvetsky is also a specialist in endocrinology and Dr. Izbicky a specialist in pulmonology.
