The practice of anesthesiology continues to grow. Although our main professional activity is in the operating room, anesthesia serves to make possible the provision of other services such as obstetrics, gastroenterology, radiology, angiography, cardiology, cath. lab, etc.

In addition, we operate a pain clinic, specialized in interventional pain treatment.

In the operating room, our department provides general, regional and local anesthesia for all types of general surgery, cardio-vascular surgery, urology, gynecology, orthopedic surgery, ear-nose-throat and neck surgery, plastic surgery, eye surgery, and pediatric surgery.

Most of the elective patients are seen in the preoperative clinic.

The department is committed to provide the highest level of teaching of students, physicians and the public.

We believe that our residency education program gives the future anesthesiologists a high level of expertise in all areas of anesthesia.
