The Weinstock Family Department of Emergency Medicine on the Fanya Gottesfeld Heller Floor (click to visit department page) is a state-of-the-art facility where adult patients are cared for when requiring immediate short term care or when an acute medical problem requires diagnosis. The wellbeing of the patient is always at the center of the staff's concern.  
The computerized, spacious department employs advanced technology equipment.
Each patient is received by a triage nurse and treated by physicians with expertise in emergency medicine, internal medicine, surgery or orthopedics as necessary. Consultations are obtained from the wide variety of specialists throughout the hospital as necessary.
The Department also includes the Kennedy Leigh Shock and Trauma Unit.
