92 New Babies Born on Rosh Hashanah at Shaare Zedek

 

64 babies were born at Shaare Zedek Medical Center and 28 were born at the Bikur Holim Hospital branch.

 

The first baby, weighing 3.66 kg, was born at 18:18, right at the beginning of the holiday, to Almanash and Gadi Yalo from Kochav Ya'akov: "We received an amazing gift for the New Year. All of our children have been born at Shaare Zedek and we had an amazing experience this time as well. We want to thank the midwives, doctors and nurses for their wonderful care," said Gadi.
 
Director of the Mother and Child Wing, Prof. Sorina Grisaru: "We offer congratulatory wishes to all the parents and families on the wonderful gifts they received for the New Year. We – our experienced and professional team – are so happy to be able to give mothers a comfortable, professional and safe birth experience at Shaare Zedek. Mazal tov to you all!"
 
Every year, more than 22,000 babies are born at Shaare Zedek Medical Center, making it the biggest and most experienced obstetrics center in Israel.
