The Adolescents Clinic at Shaare Zedek Medical Center is a unique clinic providing comprehensive treatment for issues particularly affecting this population: eating disorders, gynecological and hormonal problems, acne, depression, anxiety, reaction to drugs and more.

In contrast to other patients who come of their own accord, teenagers usually don’t have a regular doctor and tend to only ask for medical help in emergencies. This approach has a clear drawback – many health issues are missed and the young person doesn’t receive the treatment he or she needs. A designated clinic for adolescents provides this special population with holistic treatment in an appropriate environment while helping them acquire good health habits for the future.

To provide adolescents with comprehensive medical and psycho-social treatment.

To be a source of advice and assistance on adolescent issues for community doctors and hospital doctors in different fields.
