The nursing administration is launching a unique training program for nurses who are interested in developing a managerial career as a natural progression to clinical advancement. As part of the program, a selection of nurses capable of managing and leading hospital departments at Shaare Zedek will be formed.
Selection Process:
The initial personal interview evaluates the nurse's motivation for advancement and influence.
Those who demonstrate suitability will proceed to the second stage - an assessment center held within the walls of the medical center. The assessment center employs professional diagnostic tools based on objective assessments, including role-playing exercises, group work, paper and pencil tests (in a psychometric style), and more. Participants in the center will receive feedback on their performance throughout the day.
About the Program:
Nurses who succeed in the assessment center will participate in a training program that will equip them with management skills: assuming positions, employee motivation, assertiveness in roles, effective communication with teams and patients, and more. The training program will take place within the medical center, requiring a few hours per week, for a few weeks, allowing each participant to continue with their work routine, studies, and family responsibilities.
Candidates who successfully complete the training program will enter the nursing management team of the nursing department and will be given priority in appointments to managerial positions. Their managerial perception is already developed and established, and they possess an efficient toolkit.

- Qualified nurses with a bachelor's degree or higher

- Those who currently do not serve in a nurse-in-charge position or are transitioning

Participation in the training program requires meeting threshold conditions and passing assessment tests.
