Noga Clinic
The High-Risk Women's Clinic (Noga Clinic) is a multidisciplinary clinic established at Shaare Zedek Medical Center in September 2007. It was the first clinic of its kind in Israel and one of the first in the world. The clinic is dedicated to providing comprehensive care for women at high risk of developing breast and ovarian cancer due to carrying mutations in the BRCA1 and BRCA2 genes. This condition is particularly prevalent among Ashkenazi Jewish women in Israel, with approximately 1 in 40 women (2.5%) carrying these genetic mutations.
