Skin Tumors Clinic

The Skin Tumors Clinic provides comprehensive care for patients diagnosed with melanoma, squamous cell carcinoma (SCC), basal cell carcinoma (BCC), adnexal tumors, and neuroendocrine tumors of the skin (Merkel cell carcinomas).

The treatment is managed by a multidisciplinary team, including:

  • Oncologists
  • Plastic and reconstructive surgeons
  • Dermatologists
  • Ear, Nose, and Throat (ENT) specialists
  • Specialized nurses
  • We collaborate with various units, including radiology and pathology.

Patients referred to the Skin Tumors Clinic undergo a multidisciplinary team consultation. This involves presenting the patient, assessing their condition, evaluating the disease, assessing risk factors, and discussing treatment alternatives, including options for clinical trials. Following this, personalized treatment recommendations and plans are provided.

If necessary, patients may also attend a follow-up session during which the medical team evaluates their condition and makes treatment decisions. The focus on a multidisciplinary team approach ensures comprehensive care, quality assurance, efficient resource utilization, and maximizes treatment customization. We believe that optimal treatment encompasses various aspects, including medical, emotional, social, and more, and strive to meet all these needs.

Our supportive care team provides professional assistance to patients at different stages of their cancer journey. The team offers precise and comprehensive care tailored to the patients' needs and accompanies them throughout the diagnostic, investigative, treatment, and follow-up phases.

Patients receive additional support from various units and clinics, depending on their needs and preferences, such as social counseling, nutritional advice, physiotherapy, occupational therapy, psychotherapy, spiritual guidance, integrative medicine, palliative care, and quality of life support.
