Pediatric Neurosurgery

The Pediatric Neurosurgery Unit is an integral part of the Neurosurgery Department and provides care for congenital brain and spinal cord malformations, head injuries, brain and spinal cord tumors, AVM (Arteriovenous Malformation) - an abnormal tangle of blood vessels in the brain, treatment for hydrocephalus (accumulation of fluid in the brain) using endoscopic or shunt systems, surgeries to repair head injuries, treatment for cerebrovascular diseases, and more. In this unit, diagnosis, monitoring, and various surgeries are performed using specially acquired advanced equipment.
