Neuro-Genetic Clinic

The Neuro-Genetic Clinic diagnoses and treats children with complex illnesses that affect the development of the nervous system and appear to have a genetic component.

When coming to the clinic, please bring with you all medical documentation, including the results of all the tests done to the child or the mother during her pregnancy. If you have additional information regarding the medical status of other family members that might be relevant to your child's condition, please bring it.
During the visit the physicians will review the child's medical history and create a family tree. Sometimes healthy siblings are asked to accompany the patient and parents so that a complete neurological evaluation and examination can be done.
After the session and the examination, the clinic's staff meets to discuss each patient and decide on the best course of genetic investigation. The parents will receive a detailed letter with recommendations for tests. We monitor the progress of the investigation and the treatment every few months.
