Shaare Zedek's Imaging Division conducts tests for both hospitalized patients and outpatients referred from the community, providing professional and high-quality service to our patients and their families.

The staff of 22 senior doctors and 13 interns utilizes innovative and advanced technologies and possesses extensive knowledge in various imaging fields; many of the staff members have received specialized training abroad. They are affiliated with the Hebrew University and actively participate in research and medical teaching.

Our two Siemens CT scanners provide fast imaging with low radiation. In addition, our Siemens MRI devices, with magnet strengths of 1.5 and 3 Tesla, enable high-quality imaging and advanced tests for the brain, heart, bones, muscles, intestines, and uterus.

Our department performs numerous interventional tests, including diagnostic and therapeutic procedures for blood vessels (angiography), stent placement in arteries, bile ducts, and kidneys, as well as biopsies of various organs.

Our breast unit operates under the "one stop clinic" principle. This means that if any abnormalities are suspected in the breast, the patient undergoes most of the tests on the same day, including physical examination, mammography, ultrasound, and biopsy if necessary. Follow-up appointments are promptly scheduled as necessary.
