The respiratory team monitors all ventilated patients in the different hospital departments, among those the NICU, pediatric departments, Department of Emergency Medicine (ER) and the ICU departments.
The monitoring includes:
- Adjustment of parameters
- Daily examination
- Technical support for the ventilation equipment
- Special connections
- Preparation of respiratory equipment for immediate use
- Assistance with the process of withdrawal from the ventilator
- Instructing hospital staff members in operating the ventilator
- Instructing patients and family members
The service is provided around the clock.
