The laboratory conducts various tests and diagnostics in several areas that assist in diagnosing gastrointestinal diseases, liver diseases, and various disorders in the digestive system. It also performs follow-up tests for these diseases.

The laboratory operates according to ISO 9001 standards and undergoes annual accreditation by the Institute of Standards. It works in collaboration and closely with the researching physicians from the Gastro Institute.

Tests performed in the laboratory

- Sweat Tests
- Performing tests for sugar intolerance by a skilled team and advanced equipment. The tests include:
1. Lactose intolerance: Breath test to identify intolerance to lactose found in dairy products and milk-based chocolate.
2. Fructose intolerance: Breath test to identify intolerance to fructose found in fruits, some vegetables, and sweetened foods.
3. Sorbitol intolerance: Breath test to identify intolerance to sorbitol, a natural sugar found in fruits and used as a sweetener in many dietary products.
4. SIBO (Small intestinal bacterial overgrowth) breath test: Identifying an overgrowth of bacteria in the small intestine.
- Testing vitamins A and E using HPLC.
- Testing calprotectin in feces.
- Measuring metabolite levels of imuran and purinethol in blood TG6+MMP6.
