Your son/daughter is scheduled for surgery.
Fasting instructions before the surgery:
1. Clear fluid intake (water, tea with sugar, sugar water, herbal tea) is allowed up to 2 hours before the surgery.
2. Breastfeeding or soy-based formula is allowed up to 4 hours before the surgery.
3. Dairy-based formula, light meal, or regular meal are allowed up to 6 to 8 hours before the surgery, respectively.
