About
There has been a revolution in liver disease treatment in recent years, in both our ability to diagnose liver tissue developments in a non-invasive way, and in our ability to treat chronic infections such as Hepatitis B and C. Nevertheless, there has also been a parallel increase in the number of people suffering from fatty liver, which can often degenerate into serious liver disease.
The Liver Unit at the Shaare Zedek Medical Center treats patients with serious and chronic liver diseases, and helps clarify levels of liver functioning. We treat both hospitalized and non-hospitalized patients.
