Prof. Ofer Marin is a highly skilled and accomplished heart surgeon who has also excelled in medical leadership roles. With extensive experience in the field, he has held positions such as the VP of Medicine at Shaare Zedek and director of the hospital's trauma unit. In addition to his medical expertise, Prof. Marin serves as a medical director for IDF expeditions to disaster areas in his role as a colonel in the reserves.
Prof. Marin obtained his medical degree from the Hebrew University School of Medicine in 1990. To further enhance his qualifications, he pursued a degree in health systems management from the Ben Gurion School of Medicine in Be'er Sheva in 2012. He joined the cardiothoracic surgery department at Shaare Zedek in 1992 and has since become an esteemed expert in this specialized field.
