Introducing Shaare Zedek
The Shaare Zedek Medical Center, located in the heart of Jerusalem and recently marking 120 years since its founding, has played a central role throughout the years in the life of the city and its population.
Shaare Zedek is a multidisciplinary medical center, the largest in Jerusalem, offering advanced services in most of the specialties found in modern medicine. The medical center has approximately 1,000 beds across thirty inpatient departments. In addition, more than seventy units and clinics operate alongside them, with a constant commitment to developing advanced technologies to provide all who enter our gates with the most advanced and humane care possible.
The Bayit Vagan campus of the medical center includes ten interconnected buildings as well as extensive parking areas and an accessible underground garage with over 800 parking spaces.
Shaare Zedek Medical Center is located at the foot of Mount Herzl in Jerusalem, covering an area of about 45,000 square meters. In 2016, a new master plan was approved by the local planning and building committee, according to which the hospital's area will be expanded to 82,000 square meters, and building rights will be increased to 283,000 square meters.
Mission Statement
