Director of the trauma unit (for 12 years); As part of the establishment of the unit, construction and implementation of work procedures. Building follow-up routines and investigating treatment of the wounded. The unit received national and international recognition. During the "Intifada of the Ones" the unit treated more wounded than any other hospital in Israel
Emergency manager at the medical center (for 15 years). Extensive experience in mass casualty events in Israel and abroad
National activity: active in five committees of the Ministry of Health, four of them as chairman
Military activity: commander of an IDF field hospital, for 18 years. Director of four expeditions to disaster areas
Under his command, the Israeli Field Hospital was, for the first time in the world, recognized by the World Health Organization for meeting the highest standards. To date there are only two field hospitals that have been awarded this status
Volunteering at the World Health Organization. Serves as a mentor for field hospitals around the world. Member of a limited committee that writes the work procedures in disaster areas
Teaching: 10 consecutive years as an exceptional lecturer
Academics: co-author of several articles. Reviewer of 11 newspapers. Editorial board member in 3 scientific journals
Active in organizing conferences in the field of disaster assessments, and is an invited lecturer at many conferences
