The school's management works to promote and encourage excellence and also develops support systems to assist students facing difficulties. The teaching staff at the school includes:

Certified nurses with academic degrees and training in various teaching, instructional, and clinical specialties.
Lecturers - Physicians with expertise in various medical fields.
Academic instructors with teaching experience in different educational settings.
Clinical mentors from the hospital and community sectors.

The accredited nursing program and the first-degree program in nursing take place in collaboration with the Lev Academic Center.

The study pathway includes four years of tailored learning according to the academic curriculum of the Nursing Department at Tel Institute/Lev Academic Center and the requirements set by the Ministry of Health for certified nursing studies. Studies are conducted four days a week, mostly at the Sheba Medical Center School of Nursing and partially at the Nursing Department at Tel Institute. The academic study hours consist of lectures, workshops, study days, and seminars. Practical study hours involve hands-on experience in hospital departments at Sheba Medical Center, community clinics, and other healthcare settings. The program is complemented by practice lessons, simulations, and clinical discussions.

The study program for the conversion of academics to nursing is two and a half years long and is based on a curriculum that is required for the licensing exam for registered nurses by the Ministry of Health.

The study program reflects the central policies, values, and concepts of the nursing profession and its development directions. It focuses on the following knowledge domains:

1. Basic Sciences Division - This division includes a comprehensive background in life sciences, society, and behavior.

2. Nursing Sciences Division - This division comprises a structured and progressive program that provides knowledge and tools for the development of psychomotor, communication, and cognitive skills required in nursing practice. Through this division, nurses develop prevention and health promotion programs and manage nursing care in various patient conditions. This is done through professional responsibility, decision-making processes, and critical thinking, ensuring safe and efficient care.

3. Clinical Studies Division - This division involves theoretical learning and practical experience aimed at the medical and nursing interventions required in patient care across the lifespan, encompassing health and illness scenarios.

4. Advanced Clinical Experience - This division concludes the study program. In this phase, students practice comprehensive and advanced nursing care at the level of a novice registered nurse.

Foundational nursing courses offer nurses the opportunity to advance professionally, make clinical decisions, solve problems, promote health, and provide more professional, high-quality, and safe care in both hospital and community settings. The Nursing Administration operates foundational nursing courses in various clinical areas, addressing the challenges of the healthcare system, the evolving needs of Israel's population, and developments in the fields of technology and medicine.

At the School of Nursing, several foundational courses are offered every year, starting in January. Information about these courses is announced in March and continues until October. The final decision on course enrollment is subject to the approval of the Nursing Administration and is contingent upon a set number of available spots. Registration is finalized upon approval from the administration and the Committee for Justice at Sha'arei Tzedek Medical Center.
