Study Program for Academic Conversion to Nursing

The curriculum reflects the main policies, values, and concepts of the nursing profession and its developmental directions, focusing on the following areas of knowledge:

1. Basic Sciences Division - This division includes a broad background in life sciences, social sciences, and behavior.
2. Nursing Sciences Division - This division encompasses a structured and progressive program that imparts knowledge and tools for skill development.
3. The psychomotor, communication, and cognitive skills required in nursing practice. With these skills, nurses build preventive and health promotion programs and manage nursing care in various patient conditions, demonstrating professional responsibility, decision-making processes, and critical thinking that ensure safe and efficient care.
4. Clinical Studies Division - This division combines theoretical learning and practical experience directed at the medical and nursing interventions that arise throughout a person's life cycle, in health and illness.
5. Advanced Clinical Experience - This division concludes the study program. In this division, students engage in comprehensive and advanced nursing care practice at the level of entry-level registered nurses.
