Upon arrival at the Catheterization Unit's reception, patients are prepared by a nurse for the planned procedure, including a discussion with the treating doctors.
After the procedure, patients return to the reception area for monitoring and recovery until the next day, when they are discharged. In certain cases, patients are transferred for further observation in the Cardiac Intensive Care Unit or the inpatient department.
Patients recovering from procedures are usually discharged in the morning, following a discussion with the treating doctor. Upon discharge, the nurse in the Catheterization Unit will explain the recommended follow-up care at home.
We are here for you and wish you the best of health!
