Hematology Center

The Hematology Center is responsible for the diagnosis and treatment of diseases of the blood, including both hematological malignancies (such as lymphoma, common myeloma, and leukemia) and non-malignant blood disorders (such as various anemias and clotting problems).  

The Center employs cutting-edge laboratory and therapeutic methods, based on the most up-to-date research from international studies. Clinical trials that are underway at any given time allow some patients to receive new medications that are not yet part of the standard healthcare system.

The Hematology Center's team consists of specialized physicians in hematology, all of whom are internal medicine specialists, as well as nurses, administrative staff, social workers, national service volunteers, and research coordinators. The treatment team holds regular joint meetings focusing on diagnosis, therapeutic decisions, follow-up, and support for the patients.
