The Division of Clinical Laboratories is responsible for performing the tests supporting a wide range of medical fields, including biochemistry, hematology, blood bank, endocrinology, microbiology, cell identification, male fertility, gastroenterology, immunology, and virology.

Receiving Patients:
Sunday - Thursday: 08:15 - 14:00Blood Collection:
Sunday - Thursday: 08:15 - 10:30On Friday, blood collection for bilirubin tests - for newborns only - between 10:00 - 11:00. Please bring a discharge letter. The first test is provided free of charge by the hospital; for subsequent tests an HMO commitment (hitchayvut) or payment is required.
Receiving Lab Results:
Access the Shaare Zedek patient portal to view your lab results.
To maintain medical confidentiality, lab results are not provided over the phone.
Gastroenterology Tests:
To schedule an appointment, please contact the gastro department secretary: 02-6666420. You may choose to have the appointment - and instructions for preparing for the tests - to be sent to you either by email or by regular mail.
