Male Fertility Laboratory

The Male Fertility Laboratory provides services to members of health insurance funds and private individuals.

Testing is available at the laboratory only by appointment.

At the Male Fertility Laboratory, the following services are available:

1. Semen analysis for private individuals and members of health insurance funds upon presentation of a referral (referral code 89320). This comprehensive test is an initial evaluation for male fertility issues and includes a morphological examination. Additional tests such as sperm vitality, fructose test, urinary sperm findings, sperm retrieval test (in cases of azoospermia), and semen culture may be performed if necessary or as directed by the referring physician.

2. Sperm preparation for intrauterine insemination (IUI) for patients referred from the Assisted Reproduction Unit or the IVF Unit at Shaare Zedek Medical Center.
