The Orthopedic Trauma Unit, which is part of the Orthopedic Department at Shaare Zedek Medical Center, treats orthopedic trauma injuries such as fractures of long bones, complex fractures, and fractures that require joint replacement (shoulder, elbow). The unit performs surgeries in both regular and day-care hospitalization settings, but the main focus of the unit's work is post-hospitalization and outpatient follow-up.
